Although all locks can be broken with the right tools this one feels heavy and secure. My only wish would be to have a combination rather than key.
Did not have to use it yet. Adjusted belt tension that was too tight seemed to do away with the noise have not had a chance to ride it though.
you guys are the best with support, got the light in less than a week. Keep up the good work
The comfort package is a great enhancement for my wife’s 2020 Evelo Aurora Limited. The parts were easy to install.
I have greatly enjoyed riding this bike. I can control my calorie burn while having range and speed beyond that provided by my 77 year old body alone. My only very minor disappointment was no attachment points for a water bottle. Minor assembly was quick and easy and everything worked immediately.
Thanx, everyone for the quick service. Motor is now in and works great.
Super customer service from the Evelo Team and they need to be commented.
The bike looks like new! I'm glad EVELO still has parts for Luna model. Great customer service and quick delivery. Thank you!
Everything is excellent and outstanding, starting with the bike technology and ending with sales reps, services
employees ,presentation of the product and care for customer of a great company and nevertheless the founder commitment and devotion,Congratulations !!!!
The snap over keeper on the transmission-axel will not stay snapped shut. I downloaded the instructions, removed and replaced it properly. There is no apparent damage but it will not stay snapped. Held down now with furnace tape
Received replacement battery in good condition. Thank you for you excellent follow up.
Battery Charger on my 1 year old Delta X stopped working. I submitted a trouble ticket & John replaced the battery charger under warranty & wrote a nice email explaining the fix.
1st: As a retired entrepreneur, I am very impressed by how well run Evelo is--& I dont get to say that very often about companies. It is always a reflection of a its leadership (same is true of poorly run companies). I must have had 10 conversations with them before deciding to buy, and everyone I spoke with was very knowledgeable and forthright about their line of bikes and they were never in hard-sell mode. They just wanted to be as certain as possible that the bike I chose most closely matched my size and my priorities--which ended up being a less expensive bike than the one I thought I wanted!
Example: I called their repair department to ask a technical question, but they were busy and my call went to VM. I didnt want to leave a message so I just hung up and was going to call them back when I had more time. 10 minutes later, they took the initiative to call me back even though I didnt leave a message. That's a level of dedication to proactive service customers rarely get. That is just 1 of several examples. 2nd: The bike is well designed, well built and fun. I've ridden it 4 times to drain the battery to about 50% to condition it as instructed, and it has gotten stronger, but its easy to use the throttle alot and to leave the PAS at 5--and its hilly here, so the battery drops to 50% in about 12 miles--but that's me using the battery to the max while peddling most of the time. 3rd: I have only 1 wish for this bike--& others may not care about this. But every electric bike I've ridden, with 1 very expensive exception, has the gearing too low. When the motor has you going 20 - 25 mph, the top gear should be high enough to allow u to go faster by peddling without using the motor at all. I could be wrong, but I dont think that would violate electric bike regulations. I'm thinking the top gear should be similar to the top gear of a good road bike--like 11-50 or 11-52. That would provide enough pedal resistance to enable the rider to accelerate from 20 or 25 mph without using the motor and the battery at all. I understand most people are quite happy at 20-25 mph--& I am, too, most of the time, but there are times when I'd like to be able to pedal to a higher speed (for the fun and the exercise) but the highest gear ratio is too low for me to have enough resistance to go much faster. It's like being in 1st gear when starting from a stopped position--you can only pedal so fast. That is why I put "almost" in the headline, but that's because of my desire to accelerate by only pedaling once I get to the motor's top speed. Because that really is the only thing I'd change on the whole bike (except the seat which Evelo will reimburse you for a different one up to $40 if u need a more comfortable one--which is a unique and a very cool offer by Evelo), the bike definitely merits a 5 star rating. Like I said, it's a very well run company. It merits a 5 star rating, too . I hope this has been helpful.
